Hello, I am Vilma Petrikiene,
psychologist, clinical hypnotherapist
I obtained a master's degree in School Psychology from Vytautas Magnus University more about my education ↘ . These studies equipped me with various skills for working with families. First of all, addressing children's challenges requires a deeper understanding of what is happening in their immediate environment (family and daycare or school). At the same time, we all—regardless of whether we live in our parents' families, create our own, or choose to live independently—interact as social beings, seeking to answer QUESTIONS of life and navigating various dilemmas. My background in Philosophy allows me to see these phenomena in a broader context.
I also regularly participate in personal and group supervisions and intervisions, where we analyze anonymized client cases. These activities are aimed at continuous learning and ensuring the best outcomes for clients.
For my postgraduate training, I chose the encouragement-based approach of Alfred Adler's Individual Psychology and Marisa Peer's Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT).

I defended my master's thesis on how participants of positive parenting courses subjectively perceive the effectiveness and benefits of these programs. Language of the thesis: Lithuanian; Summary in English available on page 4.

HERE FOR YOU is my chosen Philosophy of life. These are the “glasses” through which I look at myself, my loved ones and those around me. We all need support, encouragement, faith and trust in ourselves that we CAN do it. We need encouragement as much as we need water!
I live this philosophy and teach it by giving lectures, consulting individually, leading groups and seminars, writing articles, and sharing, from my perspective, important information.
I am a mother of four, so my professional knowledge and pursuit of personal growth are very useful in my family's everyday life.
